It's been a long time since I last blogged but I am back crafting 100% and this challenge seemed the perfect one to come back to. The Challenge is Autumn is Here with one of my favourite deisgners, Ching Chou Kuik. So I made this card using one of her gorgeous digital images, The Fading Rose.
Simple, but elegant card with pattern papers and embellishments to compliment the beautiful focal image.

Quick and simple Christmas Cards
Well, yesterday I decided to make some simple Christmas cards - finally! I made ten of the same design. I used a stencil and stamp by Claritystamp. They were coloured with an ink duster brush using Distress Ink in Pine Needles and Barn Door. The deer was stamped with black Adirondack ink and then I just drew lines under its feet with a black pen to ground it. Topped off with a little gem and Merry Christmas peel off.

My Sister's Birthday Card
Hi, this is a simple one as my mojo seems to have gone on a Christmas break! I have used the Hunkydory Twilight Kingdom collection for the main image and the backing card. The butterfly over the moon is a black peel off. A few gems and a flower and it doesn't look that bad! Turned out better than I expected. Hope she likes it.

Upcycle for Christmas
Wow! I can't believe how long it has been since I blogged! Even the process has changed. I made something for the first time in months today so thought I would share. It gave me so much pleasure to be crafting again that I realised I need to get back into it. My mum asked for craft labels for the back of the cards she makes as a Christmas present. It looked a bit dull so I did this....
These are her labels - I got a box from a company I subscribe to and decided to decorate it and wrap the labels in purple tissue paper.
I turned the lid of the box into this. My mum likes Gorjuss Girls so this decoupage seemed appropriate. Then I thought (due to dimension) how do I wrap this. So got a brown paper bag and decorated it.
I used gorgeous images from a Pollyanna Pickering set with a few pearls and flowers. Thought this image was appropriate - a daughter giving her mum a gift.
I hope to carrying on blogging now, so glad to be back - got loads to make for Christmas and I am so behind!
